Father Bonaventure, OCD proclaimed the Gospel. Reverend Archbishop Charles Thompson preached the homily.

Archbishop Charles Thompson asked Sr. Christine:  " What do you ask of God and His Holy Church?"

Sister Christine answered:  "I ask for God's merciful love, the poverty of the Order, and the companionship of the sisters in this Monastery of Saint Joseph, Terre Haute, of the Discalced Nuns of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel."

Sister Christine prostrated before the altar during the litany of the Saints, asking the Saints in heaven for their prayer.

Sister Christine made her Solemn Vows into the hands of Mother Anne: "I, Sister Christine of the Holy Eucharist, desiring to live faithfully with the Blessed Virgin Mary a life of allegiance to Jesus Christ, with my Sisters as witnesses, into your hands, Reverend Mother Prioress, vow to Almighty God forever, chastity, poverty and obedience, according to the Rule and Constitutions of the Discalced Nuns of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel."

They proclaimed that she belong entirely to Christ and to his mystical Body, the Church.  Mother Anne helped the Archbishop veiling Sister Christine.

Sister Christine gave the sign of peace to Mother Anne and Sister Mary Joseph, followed by her family and friends in the Chapel.
