Monastic Experience Weekend
May 22 – 24
Are you between the ages of 18 and 40?
Do you hear God calling you by name to religious life?
Would like to explore the contemplative Carmelite way of life?
From May 22 – 24, we will host our annual Monastic Experience Weekend for women who are discerning a vocation to the contemplative life.
The participants will have to the opportunity to learn about our way of life. They will:
- join us for the liturgy of the hours
- attend Mass with us
- share our meals
- recreate with us
- tour our monastery and gardens
- hear talks by the Nuns on topics of prayer, vocation discernment, and Carmelite charism.
- have the chance to share their vocation stories and listen to the Sisters’ vocation stories
- have quiet time for personal prayer and reflection
