75th Anniversary of Foundation

After many months of preparation, we had the great joy of celebrating the 75th anniversary of our Foundation in Terre Haute (1947-2022) on October 8th.  It was a significant milestone for us and all our friends to celebrate God’s amazing love and countless blessings for the past 75 years. Our chapel was full and overflowed to the Choir for mass.  It was truly a joyful and grace-filled jubilee celebration for everyone.  

Our Archbishop of Indianapolis, Charles Thompson, presided and preached at the Jubilee Mass. He gave a very inspiring homily.   

Along with our Archbishop Charles were our wonderful priest friends – our dear chaplain Fr. Mark O’keefe, three Carmelite Friars, three monks from St. Meinrad Archabbey, a Franciscan and our local Pastor. We are so grateful to our dear Fathers and brothers who have faithfully provided spiritual ministry to us for the past 75 years.

Our friends had a good time sharing the jubilee meal. The celebratory meal at the monastery lodge was a wonderful opportunity to interact with so many friends and thank them for their friendship and loving support.

For many years, we have been so fortunate and blessed to have friends like you to help us live our lives of contemplative prayer.  We are deeply grateful for your prayer, loving kindness, and ongoing support.  May God bless and reward each of you and your loved ones a hundredfold in this life and in the next.
