Easter Greetings!

“This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad! Alleluia! ”                                                                                       Psalm 118:24

Out of the dark tomb of night, Easter morning dawns with the brilliant new light of the Resurrection. Death has been shattered, and the doors of paradise flung open.  Jesus has made the passage to eternal life open to all who will accept Him.  This is the day we celebrate at Easter and continue celebrating for fifty glorious days, concluding with the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.  But Easter is not just limited to one day or even a few weeks of the year- every day begins in darkness and awakens with a new dawn- a symbol of death and resurrection.  Beginning now, let us celebrate Jesus’ resurrection with every new day.
